Meet The Staff
A Bit About Us
We opened our doors on the 20th April 2009 and have since welcomed more opportunities and ventures for the playcare.
Our success as a fun and nurturing space for children couldn’t happen without our brilliant staff and community.
We focus on creating a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for the children under our care,
offering a variety of indoor and outdoor play plus plenty of learning opportunities.
The staff have a planning meeting every week to discuss the curriculum and activities and we always base these on the children.
We like to encourage the children to share their experiences with us at the playgroup and we are always interested in listening to their interests.
Through this careful listening and observation taking, we can plan for additional resources each week or add to areas of play.
The team work hard to produce a variety of colourful and challenging activities for all the children, making sure everyone at Playgroup gets to explore and enjoy their interests.

Belmont Bear has been with Belmont from 1965.
He was formerly known as 'Big Ted'.
He sits in our foyer and watches all the children playing and learning.
